Recommendations for choosing the colour and clarity of a lab-grown diamond.
D-E-F | The colourless grades are ideally suited to lab-grown diamonds. We recommend keeping to one of these options. E–F colours offer the best value; D colour, as the premium grade, may be the more expensive option, yet the visible difference is next to none.
The clarity of a lab-grown diamond should be no lower than VS1. Inclusions have a fundamental effect on a diamond’s brilliance, which is why we recommend choosing ‘clean’ lab-grown diamonds free of internal inclusions, with a high clarity grade. VVS1 and VVS2 offer the best value.
